Social Media Exec (Content creator)

What we're looking for

As a company in full start up mode, we’re looking for a passionate, storytelling-obsessed Social Media Executive who can turn quick fire ideas into engaging, scroll-stopping content. From planning and scheduling posts to analysing performance metrics, you'll play a crucial role in keeping us excited about what is possible in digital. You’ll be strategically minded with a strong knowledge of different channels and best-practices to drive audience engagement and increase our following. You’ll also be responsible for community management and assisting our creator team with influencer relationships.  

Who we are

We are i love it. A brand new recommendation and shopping platform that’s starting in the fitness and health space, that helps friends help friends and get rewarded for doing it. When you love something - like those trainers that make miles lighter - you’ll share it with people via i love it. We then reward you for the recommendation when it converts to a sale. It’s basically a commission on sharing stuff you love with people you like. We believe that the people who genuinely love a product or brand will be its best ever salespeople - not an influencer chasing likes or paid brand deals (#ad #sponcon). Instead, i love it is powered by AI, but founded on the kind of genuine recommendations that passion alone generates. The result - shoppers benefit from recommendations people actually care about - the planet benefits because it leads to less returns - and those sharing the recommendations benefit from a simple commission on sale that helps them do more of what they love in the first place.

What you'll do

Content Creation
  • Produce weekly content based on the social content calendar, while keeping an eye on trends to stay reactive and create viral moments
  • Own the production, and editing of content for different channels to a high standard with an agile approach to content creating, allowing for rapid creation, and editing to meet ad-hoc requests
  • Stay on top of the latest social media trends and platform updates, sharing insights with the rest of the business where relevant
  • Work closely with our Brand team to grow i love it’s brand audience on Linkedin to key stakeholders and retailers
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on the paid social campaigns

Reporting
  • Continuously monitor social performance and lead on monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting, providing learnings and recommendations
  • Be on top of latest social media trends and developments and platform updates
  • Monitor for trends and discussions relevant to the brand and share insights with the wider team

About you

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media and content creation 
  • Confident with content creation, showcasing creative flare with shooting and editing skills
  • Strong knowledge of all social channels’ workings and best practices across various platforms
  • An agile approach to content creating, allowing for rapid creation, and editing to meet ad-hoc requests
  • Design experience

Nice to have, but not a must

  • Proven ability to increase engagement and social growth
  • Experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
